Another company with which Segment Company is proud to partner is Makan Consulting Engineers LLC. Makan was founded in 2005 by Mohammed Alwan and Mazin Fadhil in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The company is an architectural & engineering firm, providing architectural services in urban planning, architectural design, interior design, engineering, and supervision. Today, it also has offices in Iraq, Bahrain, and Egypt.

Since its’ foundation, Makam has won no fewer than 11 awards including Winner for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award, Cityscape Real Estate Award, Business Bay Mosque, Dubai, UAE, in 2007; first place winner for Redwan Mosque – Awqaf Competition, 2009, Abu Dhabi, UAE; first place winner for Al Shohub Private School for KG, Elementary & Secondary, Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 2011; first place winner for Mosque in ADCO Admin Complex – Competition, 2012, Abu Dhabi, UAE; and first place winner for Abu Hanifa Mosque – Competition, 2012, Baghdad, Iraq.
